Biography

Graduate of Audencia, France, Marie-Yvonne Charlemagne has over 35 years of experience in several companies with an international dimension. She started her career at PwC, where she worked for over 10 years as an auditor and audit manager in France and Gabon. From 1994 to 1998, she assumed administrative and financial management of Fruit Expansion, French fresh products distribution group she supported in its structuring.

In 1999, Marie-Yvonne joined Rougier, a family-owned Euronext forestry company with operations in Central Africa, as the Group CFO. In 2004, she was appointed to the Executive Board, and in 2010 to the Board of Directors. In 2015, she assumed the role of Deputy CEO. She also held various mandates with group subsidiaries, and lead their strategic positioning with African governments and professional associations.

As a Director of MiddleNext, French council supporting mid-size companies listed on the Euronext, she was actively involved in the development of the Corporate Governance Code which is being increasingly adopted by the companies and is supported by the AMF (French Regulatory Body for listed companies).

In December 2019, she is appointed as Independent Director of Vilmorin
(4^th largest seeding group worldwide) and chairs the audit and risk committee.
